A strong community needs more than events. It needs consistent connection, resource sharing, opportunity creation, and long-term collaboration.
Across North America, hundreds of entrepreneurship workshops, AI seminars, business forums, career development programs, nonprofit initiatives, cultural events, and family education activities take place every week. At the same time, valuable job opportunities, business resources, service providers, partnership opportunities, and inspiring community stories are constantly emerging.
Yet much of this information remains scattered across WeChat groups, Facebook, LinkedIn, Eventbrite, Meetup, chamber websites, university platforms, and local community channels. As a result, many people miss valuable opportunities simply because they never see the information in time.
AAWEA believes that the true value of a platform is not only in how many resources it has, but in how effectively it helps those resources flow, connect, and benefit more people.
That is why AAWEA is officially launching the AAWEA Community Operations Center, a core platform operations team dedicated to connecting people, integrating resources, creating opportunities, and growing together.
The Community Operations Center is a key operating division of AAWEA 2.0 and an important engine behind our growing digital ecosystem.
It is responsible not only for supporting the daily operations of the AAWEA platform, but also for strengthening community engagement, organizing valuable information, amplifying community voices, and helping members access meaningful opportunities.
As AAWEA continues to evolve into a digital entrepreneurship platform built around Community + AI + Academy + SaaS, the Community Operations Center will play a central role in building a more open, efficient, and trusted community ecosystem.
Through this platform, we hope every AAWEA member and visitor can more easily:
Discover meaningful events
Find job and career opportunities
Read inspiring founder and community stories
Connect with trusted businesses and service providers
Access practical entrepreneurship resources
Explore partnership opportunities
Build high-quality community connections

The AAWEA Community Operations Center currently includes six core teams.
The Events Team collects, organizes, publishes, and promotes high-quality community events across North America, helping build a trusted and accessible community event platform.
The Content Team creates founder stories, community interviews, blog articles, newsletters, short videos, and social media content to amplify meaningful voices and share valuable insights.
The Directory Team maintains AAWEA’s business directory, service provider lists, mentor network, expert database, and partner ecosystem, helping community members find trusted resources.
The Growth Team focuses on SEO, GEO, website traffic growth, data analysis, AI-powered content operations, and community growth strategies to expand AAWEA’s platform impact.
The Volunteer Engagement Team supports volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, recognition, team culture, and long-term volunteer development.
The AI & Technology Support Team helps optimize platform functions, implement AI tools, build automation workflows, manage data, and provide technical support for the broader operations team.
AAWEA is now recruiting the first group of founding volunteers for the Community Operations Center.
Whether you are an entrepreneur, professional, student, community builder, or someone who wants to contribute a few hours each week to a meaningful cause, we welcome you to join us.
This is more than a volunteer opportunity. It is a chance to help build an international nonprofit platform, gain hands-on experience in community operations, learn AI-powered digital tools, and connect with entrepreneurs, business leaders, professionals, investors, and community organizations.
We are looking for volunteers who:
Care about community building and resource sharing
Believe in AAWEA’s mission to empower Asian American entrepreneurs and communities
Can contribute approximately 1–3 hours per week
Are responsible, detail-oriented, and collaborative
Are willing to learn AI tools, digital platforms, and community operations
No prior experience is required. AAWEA will provide training, workflow guidance, and AI tool support.
Based on your interests and strengths, you may choose to join one or more teams.
In the Events Team, you may help collect community events, connect with event organizers, optimize event listings, organize event categories and tags, and write event recaps.
In the Content Team, you may help interview entrepreneurs, write community stories, edit blog posts and newsletters, and create social media content.
In the Directory Team, you may help collect and verify business information, maintain AAWEA’s business directory, and support the development of our mentor and expert network.
In the Growth Team, you may learn and practice SEO, GEO, AI content generation, website analytics, and community growth strategies.
In the future, we will continue to introduce more AI-powered tools and automation systems, allowing volunteers to focus less on repetitive data entry and more on curation, storytelling, resource integration, and value creation.
As a Community Operations Center volunteer, you will not only serve the community but also grow personally and professionally.
Volunteers may receive:
AAWEA official volunteer certificate
Community service verification
Recommendation letter for outstanding volunteers
LinkedIn recommendation
Hands-on experience with AI tools and digital marketing
Practical training in website operations and community management
Opportunities to connect with entrepreneurs, executives, investors, and professionals

One resource may help a small business discover a new path for growth.
One connection may lead to a long-term partnership.
AAWEA wants to become the platform where these opportunities happen.
We believe that a truly impactful organization does more than host events. It continuously creates value, connects resources, amplifies voices, and serves the community.
The Community Operations Center is an important step toward that vision.
If you want to use your time and skills to support the Asian American community in North America;
if you want to learn platform operations in the AI era and gain meaningful experience with an international nonprofit organization;

负责SEO、GEO(Generative Engine Optimization)、网站流量增长、数据分析及AI内容运营,不断提升平台影响力。
负责志愿者招募、培训、管理、激励与团队文化建设,为更多社区伙伴创造成长机会。
负责AI工具应用、网站功能优化、自动化流程建设及技术支持,为平台持续创新提供保障。
Community Operations Center 现正式招募首批创始成员。
无论你是创业者、职场人士、学生,还是希望利用业余时间服务社区,我们都欢迎你的加入。
