From the first grade, I learned calligraphy, abacus, and drawing from my father. From the second grade, I attended calligraphy and abacus schools. I received an award for calligraphy in the second grade and reached the 2nd dan rank. I reached the 2nd kyu rank in abacus in the fifth grade. I had to stop attending both due to the teachers' circumstances. My father's drawings, which were on the back of flyers, looked like living giraffes and elephants.
